Beahive Affordable Housing Outreach, Inc. is a nonprofit dedicated to making affordable housing attainable, sustainable, and rooted in dignity for individuals and families across Dauphin, Cumberland, and York Counties.
Through property rehabilitation, financial assistance, and wraparound services like case management and community referrals, we meet people where they are—and help them move forward with stability and support

Stability starts with support—right when you need it most.
At Beahive, we know that one unexpected crisis can threaten everything. That’s why our Hive Savings Assistance program provides up to $500 in direct financial support to individuals and families facing:

Court-ordered eviction

Pending foreclosure

Overdue property taxes that could result in the loss of a primary residence
We also offer help with security deposits and application fees for those who are:

Leaving an unsafe or uninhabitable living environment
By stepping in during critical moments, we help our neighbors stay housed—or find a new place to call home—with dignity and peace of mind. Everyone deserves the chance to build stability without fear of losing their foundation.

Hive Creation is Beahive’s housing development initiative where we purchase, rehabilitate, and transform properties into affordable, high-quality homes. With the support of local and state grantors, we’re able to bring vacant or deteriorating properties back to life for the individuals and families who need them most.
This work is intentional and incremental—we move forward home by home, unit by unit, knowing that each project has the power to change a life, a block, and eventually, a neighborhood.
While we dream big—with plans to develop a multi-use affordable housing community in the future—we continue to make an impact now by creating and maintaining deeply affordable rentals.
